Explore the many possibilities for designing a functioning network: start in your own home, connect a small town, and expand your network across continents. Build as energy-efficiently as possible, use renewable energy sources, and reduce your CO₂ emissions.

History

WebLab is a project by visuelles.xyz in collaboration with Causa Creations. The game was developed on behalf of the Vienna Technical Museum for the permanent exhibition “Material Worlds.” The project was funded by Netidee, the open-source Internet funding initiative of the Internet Foundation Austria.

Causa Creations is a boutique game development studio located in Vienna, Austria. Originally established in 2014, the independent company is currently helmed by Georg Hobmeier and Ben Wahl.
